While the original game was definitely something that held players so raptly attentive that they were almost hostages in their own home, the expansion pack BLACK & WHITE 2: BATTLE OF THE GODS EXPANSION PACK by Lionhead Studios for the PC makes it even more addictive. In BLACK & WHITE 2: BATTLE OF THE GODS EXPANSION PACK, the Aztecs have decided to fight back by performing an unholy number of human sacrifices that have succeeded in drawing out their own evil deity. Players must return to the idyllic land of Eden in order to take on this god face to face. True to the BLACK & WHITE combative styles, players can then decide if they want to try and conquer the other creature through acts of good and kindness or if they will try to outdo the entity through even more heinous acts of evil. The best part is that while BLACK & WHITE 2: BATTLE OF THE GODS EXPANSION PACK includes a new evil creature, it also gives players the chance to explore two new lands, six different challenges, and two enemy armies with advanced AI. All of this newer content really ups the ante for players and pulls them into an even more deeply engaging game. This expansion pack allows for the players to get a more fully developed sense of the game and to explore the hidden paths within themselves as they once again face the moral decision of whether or not to use good or evil to take on the enemy.
