Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

  • Basic Purpose
    The SIG Electronics Reseller Account Manager is responsible for building a portfolio of accounts (50+) with an annualized value of at least 1.5 million in revenue.
  • PLEASE NOTE:
    This is an Inside Sales position in a fast paced environment in Head Office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish minimum production levels of revenue and gross margin.
  • Contact assigned portfolio accounts and new prospects, as well as any leads that a manager brings to the agent.
  • Aggressively seek out and pursue quoting opportunities in their assigned portfolio accounts, new prospects, as well as any leads that a manager brings to the agent. Current requirement is 25 outbound calls a day & and equal amount of business related emails (quotes, inquiries, prospects, etc.). Minimum levels of activity may be assigned at any time.
  • Prospect for new accounts on a daily basis.
  • Handle the customer service (order tracking, order status, etc.) associated with orders entered by themselves and on back up status for other team members.
  • Attend and participate in all scheduled vendor and internal training.
  • Aid in the training of new hires and existing account managers as needed by management.
  • Submit any reports that are needed by management and prompt reply to these requests accordingly.
  • Source product, quote it, and get the SKU set up, place the order with the vendor and make sure it ships.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 –3 Years of Sales Experience.
  • Familiarity with computers and corporate IT infrastructure.
  • Goal oriented “can-do” attitude with the ability to be aggressive and persistent.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with a highly motivated professional sales team.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills is critical.

Compensation Base + Profit Share

Required Education
  • Diploma
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
