Features
- The Optio WG-1 is the perfect choice for active photographers who shoot pictures in demanding conditions. It can be used underwater continuously for up to 2 hours at a depth of up to 10m. Its crushproof construction can withstand weights up to 100 KGF (kilogram-force) and shockproof design protects it against drops of 1.5m. It also offers remarkable dustproof performance to protect the camera from dry, dusty environments and exceptional cold-resistant performance for reliable operation at temperatures as low as –10°C
- Combining a macro shooting capability from as close as 1cm away with its 5 LED Macro Lighting and unique Macro Stand, the Digital Microscope mode delivers magnified sharp pictures of even the smallest subjects, like insects, or the veins of a leaf.
- Combining a 14 megapixel sensor with a new, sophisticated imaging process and high performance zoom lens, the Optio WG-1 produces beautiful, high-resolution prints with fine details, even when enlarged to poster sizes.
- 5X wide angle internal optical zoom lens, covering an angle of view equivalent to approximately 28 to 140 mm in 35 mm format is ideal for shooting a broad spectrum of subjects, from landscapes to indoor, portrait or group photos.
- The large 2.7 inch, 230,000 dot LCD screen features a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.
A special AR (Anti-Reflection) coating cuts the glare of external light and minimizes reflections, making it easy to observe the subject, monitor recorded images and view on-screen menus, even in bright sunlight.
- Triple anti-shake protection to prevent different types of camera shake: Pixel Track SR mode effectively compensates for camera shake during still-image shooting digitally without increasing image noise, High-Sensitivity SR mode automatically raises the sensitivity up to ISO 6400 under poor-lighting conditions and the Movie SR mode prevents blurry images by effectively minimizing camera shake through the use of exclusive software.
- The Face Detection function detects up to 32 faces- even the faces of dogs and cats- in the image field, then catches them in sharp focus and in optimum exposure in as little as 0.03 seconds. The unique Self-portrait Assist function uses the blink of the LED lights to confirm whether your face is centered in the picture.
- Capture beautiful, flawless movie clips at 16:9 high-definition TV proportions (1280 x 720 pixels) at a frame rate of 30 frames per second and offers a variety of editing functions. The Optio WG-1 also has an HDMI micro terminal for audio/video signal output.
- Capture images remotely with infrared remote control capabilities (using optional PENTAX remote controller).
- Includes a woven web fabric strap complete with a carabiner to attach the camera to a backpack and other outdoor gear.
- MediaImpression 3.0 for PENTAX (Windows version) and MediaImpression 2.1 for PENTAX (Macintosh version) image viewing, editing and filing software included
