The Panasonic U-Shape Steam/Dry Iron offers a curved titanium soleplate. Pressure is applied at the centre of the iron so there is less drag at the tip. The unique U-shape soleplate is longer than a conventional iron, making ironing faster. The mercury-free electronic sensor shuts off the iron if it is left on for more than 10 minutes in an upright position.
